Cowgirls Fall To Concordia, 3-0

AUSTIN, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' volleyball team fell 25-22, 25-19, 25-16 to Concordia in American Southwest Conference action on Tuesday night in Austin.

The Cowgirls fell behind 16-10 in the first game but scored four straight points to get back in the game and eventually tied the set at 21. Concordia won four of the final five points to take the game.

In the final two games, the Tornados had an 8-2 run midway through the game to take control of the games and closed them out.

Grace Schulz led the Cowgirls with eight kills and six blocks. Leecia DePaula led the defense with 13 digs.

HSU is now 8-13 overall and 5-5 in conference play. Concordia improved to 11-7 overall and 8-2 in league play.

The Cowgirls will co-host the ASC Crossover tournament this weekend at the Mabee Complex.
