Cowgirls In Third At ASC Championship

GLEN ROSE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' women's golf team is in third place after the first round of the American Southwest Conference Championship that is being played at the Squaw Valley Golf Club in Glen Rose.

HSU shot a 329 and is 13 shots behind leader Mary Hardin-Baylor. Concordia is second after shooting a 321.

Jordan Daggs shot a 79 to lead the Cowgirls and she is tied for fifth overall. Ashley Riemitis shot an 80 and is in eighth place. Baylee Oehlert shot an 83, Heidi Moser had an 87 and Taylor Thompson shot an 88.

Madyson Milliorn of Concordia leads Olivia Robinson of Mary Hardin-Baylor 73-74 in the medalist race.

The teams will try to play a round on Saturday with a 1:30 shotgun start and the final round is slated for Sunday.
