Cowgirls In Third At Linda Lowery Invitational

 

AUSTIN, Texas – High winds and cooler temperatures made for a tough scoring day for the women's golf teams at the Linda Lowery Invitational that is being played at the River Place Country Club in Austin.

The Cowgirls are in third place after shooting a 360. Southwestern shot a 339 to take the lead and Concordia is second with a 350. HSU is third and Howard Payne is fourth with a 390.

Ashley Riemitis led the Cowgirls with an 80 and is in second place four strokes behind leader Emily Campbell of Southwestern. Baylee Oehlert and Heidi Moser each shot a 92, Kayleigh Mints shot a 96 and Jordan Daggs had a 98 for the Cowgirls in the first round of the spring.

The teams will conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday.
