RICHARDSON, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's cross country team finished third at the UT-Dallas Invitational on the UTD campus.
The top three teams were bunched as Austin College won the meet with 56 points, UT-Dallas was second with 63 and the Cowboys were third with 67. Southwest Assemblies of God, North Central Texas College, the University of Dallas and Mary Hardin-Baylor rounded out the field.
Tyler Rohrman led the Cowboys with a fifth-place finish overall. He ran a 16:24 in the 5K race. Zach Mitchell was 10th with a 16:51. River Smith (17:10, 13th), Eric Monroy (17:12, 15th) and Tyler Stout (18:01, 24th) rounded out the Cowboy scorers.
Steven Hicks, Richard Denton and Nathan McEndree also ran for the Cowboys.
HSU will travel to the Concordia Classic in Austin on Sept. 27 in its next action.
