Cowboy Track Sets Relay Records at the Jet Relays

FORT WORTH, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's track competed in the Jet Relays in Fort Worth on Saturday.

The Cowboys' 4x200m A team of Travis Garner, Juwan Crawford, Tanner Wright, and Hasanai "Go" Chanriang placed fourth with a 1:28.52. The 4x400m team of Malik Pratt, Chanriang, Wright, and Aaron Martinez placed third overall with a 3:17.96. Both of these relay times are new records for Cowboy outdoor track.

Juwan Crawford led the Cowboys with a 11.25 in the 100m dash. The other Cowboys to compete in the 100m were Noah Straw (11.81) and E.J. Konah (11.42).

Trey Denton led the team in the 5000m with a time of 18:38.12. Tyler Stout also ran in the 5000m with an 18:42.75. Joseph Gilligan led the team in the 110m hurdles with a time of 16.98.

The 4x200m B team of Steven Hicks, Straw, Gilligan, and Samuel Wells ran a time of 1:40.39.

The 4x800m team of Pratt, A. Martinez, Sammy Magallen, and Hicks placed second overall with an 8:24.00.

The Cowboys' 800m sprint medley team of Straw, Wright, Garner, and Hicks took first place with a time of 1:39.87. The distance medley team of Stout, Hicks, A. Martinez, and Magallen had a time of 11:48.21.

Konah led the team in the long jump with a 20-6 ¼ (6.25m). Devon Drane led the Cowboys in the major throws with a 41-6 (12.65m) shot put, a 133-6 (40.70m) discus, and a 122-10 (37.44m) javelin throw.
