Cowboys Leave Lubbock with More Records

LUBBOCK, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' men's track competed in Lubbock Friday at the Matador Classic.

Tanner Wright set another school record in the 200m with a time of 22.39. Juwan Crawford ran a 22.56 and E.J. Konah had a 22.94.

Aaron Martinez would also set a new record in the 400m with a time of 49.60. Hasanai "Go" Chanriang ran a 50.06 400m.

Joe Gilligan competed in the 60m hurdles with a time of 10.37. He would run a 9.40 in the final. Rohrman was the only Cowboy to run in the mile with a 4:42.21.

E.J. Konah led the Cowboys in the 60m dash with a time of 7.20. Juwan Crawford ran a 7.28 in the 60m dash.

Wright finished sixth overall in the long jump with 20-4 ½ (6.21m). Konah jumped a 17-1 ½ (5.22m).

Cowboy track will host its first ever home meet this Saturday in Abilene with the HSU Relays.
