HSU Track Sets Two New School Records; Ties Another
FRISCO, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' track teams set two new school records and tied another on Thursday at the Frisco Indoor at the Ford Center at Texas Star.

Sophomore Hasanai Chanriang set the 400 meters record on the men's side with a 51.66. Sydney Tencate lowered the school mark in the women's 5000 by over two minutes with a 19:24.49.

Myra Carrion tied her own school mark in the pole vault with a leap of 3.15 meters (10-4).

On the women's side, Emily Olguin ran a 6:05.31 in the mile, Molli Howard led the HSU 60-meter hurdlers with a 10.16. Kalimah Muhammad led the 60 meters contingent with an 8.48.

Tencate ran a 2:29 800 meters, Carrion led the 200 runners with a 28.20. Samantha Pennese had a 15-0 ¾ long jump.

On the men's side, Stephen McEndree ran a 4:53.68 1-mile and 17.07 5,000 meters. Jylan Burris had a 2:10.74 800 meters. Kyle Dodd ran a 8.86 in the 60 hurdles.

Kaelon Maclemore had a 40-4 throw in the shot put.
