Baker Wins Shot Put, Sets School Record in Discus at Texas Tech
LUBBOCK, Texas – Dustin Baker had another huge day as he won the shot put and set a school record in his best event the discus to place third at the Red Raider Open in Lubbock.

Baker had a throw of 50-6 ¾ in the shot put. He improved to 12th in the nation in the discus, improving four spots with a personal-best 166-4.

Trei Lewis ran an 11.01 100 and 22.10 in the 200.

Derek Footer ran a season-best 14.71 in the 110 hurdles. He is currently 15th in the nation in Division III. He also ran 56.42 in the 400 hurdles.

Kyle Mann went 13-9 ¾ in the pole vault. Duron Smith had a 44-7 in the triple jump. 

On the women's side, Evlyn Collins had a 39-10 ½ in the shot put and Rachel Davis went 38-6 ¾. Davis also had a 129-3 in the hammer throw.

Hailey Whiteside ran a season-best 14.99 in the 100 hurdles.
