Lewis Sets School 400 Meter Record
SAN ANGELO, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' sent a handful of athletes to the David Noble relays on Thursday in San Angelo.

Trei Lewis set the school record in the 400 with a time of 49.58 in the prelims.

Derek Footer ran a 14.72 in the finals to finish sixth, it was his best time of the season and is now the second best time in the nation this season in Division III.

Dustin Baker finished fourth with a throw of 49-8 in the shot put, was third in the discus with a throw of 159-5.

HSU will have its own invitational meet on Saturday.
