Five School Records Fall At OBU
NORMAN, Okla. – Hardin-Simmons' track and field team sent just a few participants to the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational, but five new school records were set at the meet that was hosted at the University of Oklahoma.

Freshman Kristen Adair set the school record in the pole vault with a 9-3 ¼ and also pushed her triple jump record out to 35-11 ¼.

Kyle Mann extended his mark in the pole vault with a height of 14-11, 5 ¾ inches better than his old mark.

Garrett Winston broke the long jump record by 5 ¼ inches as he went 20-6 ¼ passing Gerard Millsap's 2009 record.

The 4x440-yard relay team of John Rich, Ty Mann, Trei Alexander and Derek Footer ran a 3:35.63, better than the old mark of 3:36.

The teams will have one more meet next week at Texas Tech to try to hit NCAA Indoor qualifying marks.
