Cowboys Fall To No. 31 Swarthmore

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team lost to Swarthmore 9-0 on its Spring Break trip to California.

Swarthmore is ranked No. 31 in the nation and they swept all three doubles matches by a score of 8-3.

The Cowboys had a couple of three-set matches in singles with freshman Nathaniel Schoendorf falling 6-3, 4-6, 10-8 at No. 2 singles and freshman Christopher Beavers falling, 5-7, 6-3, 11-9 at No. 6 singles.

HSU is now 2-5 on the year and Swarthmore improved to 5-1. The Cowboys will close out the trip with a match against California Lutheran on Tuesday at 3 p.m. CST.
