Third-Ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Blanks Cowboys

CLAREMONT, Calif. — Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team completed its spring break trip with a 9-0 loss to third-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Universities late Wednesday night at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center.

The Stags showed their muscle throughout the lineup winning all six singles in straight sets and the closest doubles match was 8-4.

Sam May had the closest match of the day for the Cowboys as he lost 7-5, 6-4 at No. 3 singles.

HSU is now 2-5 on the year and CMS improved to 9-0. HSU will play five conference matches next week, starting against Ozarks on Thursday at UT-Dallas.
