GREENSBORO, N.C. – Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer player Mackenson Cadet was named an NCAA DIII All-American midfielder by the United Soccer Coaches on Thursday night at the NCAA Final Four banquet in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Cadet was named to the third team as an All-American midfielder. Originally from Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, the junior transfer has made an immediate impact for Cowboy soccer, commanding possession in the middle.
Cadet had six goals and three assists with two game-winning goals in his ASC Midfielder of the Year campaign for 2019. He was named to the all-ASC first team and the United Soccer Coaches all-region first team as a midfielder. Cadet helped the team to a 14-3-2 mark and a program record 10-game win streak to start the year.
Cadet is the fourth Cowboy soccer player to be named an All-American, and the first since 2005.
