Tencate Places Seventh at UD Invitational; Cowgirls Eighth

IRVING, Texas – Syndey Tencate led the Hardin-Simmons cross country team with a seventh place overall finish at the 6K University of Dallas Invitational on Saturday in Irving.

Tencate ran a 19:59. Emily Olguin ran a 22:46, Madisyn Braun a 24:14, Madison Wooten a 25:35, and Bree'na Kolacek a 26:56.

Texas Wesleyan won the meet with a score of 51 to pace UT-Dallas by two points. The Cowgirls were eighth in the 10-team field with a score of 185.

Lindsey Rayborn of UT-Dallas won the meet with at time of 19:17.

On the men's side HSU had three runners. Stephen McEndree led the way for the Cowboys with a time of 17:52 and placed 27th overall. Cesar Ramirez was 36th with a time of 18:25 and Seth Robinson ran a 22:42.

Marbaq Edgar of Wiley won the race with a 15:57. LeTourneau won the meet 60-64 over Texas Wesleyan.  

The meet was the final tune-up before the ASC Meet on Oct. 29 in Austin.
