Parnell Named Academic All-District

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons sophomore volleyball player Kaela Parnell was named to the ESPN The Magazine/College Sports Information Director's of America College Division All-District VI team that was voted on by the CoSIDA members in the district.

Parnell has a 4.0 grade point average as a biology major. She was an All-ASC selection on the court for the Cowgirls.

The college division of CoSIDA is teams in Division II, Division III and the NAIA and district VI includes teams from Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, New Mexico and Texas.
