Cowgirls Split At Austin College

SHERMAN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' volleyball team split a pair of matches at the Austin College Tournament, Friday in Sherman.
The Cowgirls defeated UT Tyler 30-20, 30-26 and 30-25 in the first game of the tournament and then dropped a 30-26, 30-12, 30-20 match to nationally ranked Southwestern.
HSU will play Austin College and UT Dallas on Saturday. HSU will be looking to avenge two of its losses on the year against UTD and the match with Austin College is a rematch of the first round of the NCAA Tournament a year ago. AC rallied from a big deficit to win the match in five games.
HSU is now 19-6 on the season.
