Cowgirls Fall To Southwestern

SHERMAN, Texas — Hardin-Simmons’ volleyball team saw its 10-match winning streak come to an end in a 25-14, 25-22, 25-21 loss to No. 13 Southwestern in the Austin College Invitational, Saturday morning in Sherman.

Chelsie Fowler led the Cowgirls’ offense with 12 kills and Madison Reyes added eight kills. Gracen Harris led the Cowgirls defensive effort with 20 digs.

The Cowgirls are now 19-6 on the season and they will close out the regular season with matches at Schreiner and Sul Ross State next weekend.
