Cowgirls Win At Schreiner

KERRVILLE, Texas — Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team won its second straight match with a 7-2 win over Schreiner in American Southwest Conference action in Kerrville on Friday evening. 

The Cowgirls rolled through the three doubles to take a 3-0 lead heading into singles. Lauren Jay, Morgan Rainer, Genene Haddad and Amelia Chaney all won straight set matches at No. 1, 2, 3 and 5 singles.

The Cowgirls are now 6-6 overall and 2-0 in ASC West action. Schreiner fell to 3-12 overall and 2-1 in league play. HSU concludes its six match in eight day stretch with a match at Texas Lutheran at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
