Cowgirls Drop Pair to UMHB

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' softball team dropped a pair of American Southwest Conference games to Mary Hardin-Baylor, 6-0 and 11-0, Friday afternoon at Ellis Field.
The Cowgirls could not muster up any offense in the doubleheader as they had only six hits in the two games and all of them were singles.
Laura Rawlings took the loss in the first game and Lacie Cole took the loss in game two.
Mary Hardin-Baylor is now 29-5 on the year and 22-0 in ASC West action. The Cowgirls are now 16-16 on the year and 10-12 in ASC play. HSU will close its season on Senior Day on Saturday at noon when the teams play a doubleheader.
