Cogdell, Lewis Earn Player of the Week

RICHARDSON, Texas - Juniors Kelsey Cogdell and Megann Lewis were selected West Division Players of the Week in hitting and pitching.

Cogdell went 4-for-9 with one home run, one double and two RBIs to pace a 3-0 week. Cogdell also scored twice and had two sacrifice bunts. 

Lewis threw a one-hit shutout with eight strikeouts to defeat Austin College. Lewis only walked one batter over the six frames.

The Cowgirls return to action this weekend in an ASC crossover in Farmers Branch.
