Cowgirls Shutout Texas Lutheran

SEGUIN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team completed its regular season slate with a 4-0 win over Texas Lutheran, in American Southwest Conference action on Saturday in Seguin.

It took the Cowgirls a while to get on the board, but freshman Miranda Bersosa scored in the 38^th and 40^th minutes to give the Cowgirls a 2-0 halftime lead.

HSU added a goal from Amy Kuykendall in the 55^th minute and Lindsay Cogburn added another in the 81^st minute.

With the shutout the Cowgirls went through conference play without allowing a goal and moved its ASC unbeaten streak to 106 games.

The Cowgirls will host the ASC Tournament looking for its sixth straight title. Hardin-Simmons will play at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

HSU is 13-3-3 and 12-0-1 in ASC play. TLU ended its season at 9-9 and 7-6 in conference play.
