HSU Pushes Streak To 96

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team got on track offensively and defeated East Texas Baptist 9-0 in American Southwest Conference action, Saturday afternoon at the HSU Soccer Complex.

HSU received two first half goals from Morg an Loyd and Jordan Morely and Mickey Rogers each scored to make it 4-0 at halftime.

In the second half, Megan Ryan, Lindsay Cogburn, Julie Woolverton, Cassie Sandifer and Morley all scored to out the win away.

HSU outshot ETBU 46-1 in the game. Christi Carr and Rebecca Roth split halves for the Cowgirls.

HSU is now 3-2-2 on the year and 2-0 in ASC play. East Texas Baptist fell to 1-5 overall and 1-1 in ASC action.
