Cowgirls Place 13th At UMHB

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's golf team placed 13^th in the Mary Hardin-Baylor Fall Invitational at Wildflower Country Club in Belton on Tuesday.

The Cowgirls actually improved their score by one stroke from Monday and finished with a 365-364-729 total.

Ashley Luecke shot a 90-88-178 to lead the Cowgirls. Ashley Jacques shot 90-89-179, Tiffany Hambrick shot 90-94-184, DeLane Griffith shot 95-93-188 and Andrea Tharp shot 99-94-193.

Western Texas CC won the event with a two-day 657 by one stroke over Lubbock Christian. Marissa Mauldin won the medalist event with a 73-81-154.
