Cowgirls in 12th Place After Day One
BELTON, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's golf team is in 12th place after the first round of the Mary Hardin-Baylor Fall Invitational which is being held at the Wildflower Country Club in Belton.
Lubbock Christian leads the even with a 318. The Cowgirls shot a 365 in the first round of competition. Marissa Mauldin of Southwestern shot a 73 to lead the individual race.
The Cowgirls had three players - Ashley Luecke, Ashley Jacques and Tiffany Hambrick shot 90 to lead the way. DeLane Griffith shot a 95 and Andrea Tharp shot 99 for HSU.
The teams will play 18 holes on Tuesday.
