Cowgirls Finish 20th
JEKYLL ISLAND, Georgia - Hardin-Simmons' women's golf team placed 20th at the Jekyll Island Invitational that was played at the 5,829, par-72 Indian Mound Golf Course.
Ashley Jacques led the Cowgirl effort with a 283 which was good
for a tie for 82nd place. DeLane Griffith 284 (85),
Tiffany Hambrick 285 (90), and Andrea Tharp 317 (114) rounded out
the Cowgirl lineup.
Wisconsin-Stevens Point won the tournament after shooting 982.
Southwestern University finished second with a 987 and Illinois
Wesleyan finished third with a 1000. Jessica Urban of Stevens Point
finished first after shooting 238 overall and shooting a tournament
best 75 on the third round.
