Anderson Named To D3Hoops.Com All-Decade Team

Feb. 5, 2008

ABILENE, Texas - For the last 10 years, D3hoops.com has been the major national voice for Division III basketball on a national level. The site published by Pat Coleman is celebrating its 10th anniversary with an all-decade team from that time frame and former Hardin-Simmons All-American Kendra Anderson was named to the second team by the site.

Anderson, a three-time American Southwest Conference player of the year, was also a two-time first-team All-American by D3hoops.com. Anderson led the Cowgirls to four straight ASC titles and to at least the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament all four years.

The Colorado City native averaged 15.6 points and 8.5 rebounds in 113 career games. She averaged 20.1 points and 10 rebounds per outing her senior year, where the Cowgirls were ranked No. 1 in the nation most of the season and finished the year 27-1.

She was named the Wade Trophy award winner as the Division III National Player of the Year after the 2003 season.
