Outstanding athlete that is expected to step in and contribute immediately on the wing for the Cowgirls. Prior To HSU: Spent one year on the track team at UT-San Antonio, where she competed in the hurdles and the heptathlon. High School: Was a standout athlete at Jim Ned High School where she was the district MVP as a senior. Also named to the 2A all-region and all-state teams as a senior after averaging 20 points and eight rebounds per game as a senior. Was a state qualifier in track and cross country and graduated fourth in her class. She was academic all-state in cross country, track and basketball. Personal: Daughter of Ron and Gwen Allen. Has a brother, Blake and a sister, Ashley. Ashley is also a member of the Cowgirl basketball team. Education major. Born July 23, 1988. Her mom Gwen played basketball at Hardin-Simmons.
