ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team continued its amazing American Southwest Conference run with an 8-1 win over Howard Payne, Thursday afternoon at the Streich Tennis Center.

The Cowboys rolled through singles play with no one losing more than five games in their straight set wins. HSU won all six singles and No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.

Ryan Waters rolled at No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Chris Sutton.

HSU (8-6, 4-0) will host Mary Hardin-Baylor on Friday at 3 p.m. Howard Payne fell to 5-7 overall and 3-3 in league play.
