Shaughnessy, Salas Honored By Coaches

ABILENE, Texas - Junior goalkeeper Ryan Shaughnessy and sophomore forward David Salas have been named to the South Central All-Region team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Shaughnessy was named to the first team. The Waco Midway product also earned first-team All-American Southwest Conference honors after posting a 1.25 goals against average this season. He earned third-team all-region honors last season.

Salas earned second team honors after scoring 11 goals and dishing out six assists for the Cowboys this season. He was also named first-team All-ASC.

Hardin-Simmons posted an 11-7-2 mark this season and advanced to the ASC Tournament.
