Schreiner Knocks Off UT-Dallas

ABILENE, Texas - Chad Baker scored on a beautiful cross from David Ramos in the 51st minute and the Schreiner University men's soccer team advanced to the semifinals of the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament with a 1-0, Friday afternoon at the Hardin-Simmons Soccer Complex.

UT-Dallas outshot the Mountaineers but Nick Morrison stood tall in goal with nine saves in the shutout. UTD had several chances late but could not convert.

UTD ends its season at 9-7-3. Schreiner advances to the semifinals to play Hardin-Simmons at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
