Cowboys Set For Conference Opener

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' soccer team will open conference play on Friday at 8 p.m. at Shelton Stadium, when it plays host to Concordia-Austin.

The Cowboys, who are 3-2 on the season, are led offensively by David Salas and James Burton, with three goals each. Goalkeeper Ryan Shaughnessy has been named the ASC West Defensive player of the week two times this season.

Concordia is 0-2 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.

HSU will play host to Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday at 4 p.m.
