Coffin Named Second-Team All-Region

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Tanner Coffin, a senior defender for the Hardin-Simmons men's soccer team, has been named a second-team all-West region selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

It is the second time for Coffin to earn all-region honors. He earned the award as a junior in 2014 and then after missing the 2015 with a knee injury suffered in the season opener he came back strong in 2016.

Coffin helped lead the Cowboys to the ASC Championship game as one of the top defenders in the conference and also tied for the team lead in goals with five, including a dramatic one with :22 to play to tie the ASC semifinal game with UT-Tyler and the Cowboys eventually advanced on PKs.
