Oswald Scores Game Winner For the Cowboys

SAN ANTONIO - Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team received a goal from junior Cody Oswald in overtime that allowed them to defeat Southwestern 2-1 in the Trinity Classic in San Antonio.

Oswald was set up in the box by Griffin Pedigo on the game winner at the 99:15 mark.

After a scoreless first half, HSU got on the board first when Chris O'Brien scored on a header from a Cody McGrath cross in the 57th minute. Southwestern evened the match on a Josh Spencer goal at 65:14.

It was the first win of the season for the Cowboys as they improved to 1-2-0. Logan Waters got the win in goal for HSU in his first career start.
