Cowboys Run Past East Texas Baptist

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team scored three first half goals and pitched a shutout in a 3-0 American Southwest Conference win over East Texas Baptist, Saturday at the HSU Soccer Complex.

Isaiah Hicks put the Cowboys on the board in the 13^th minute with his third goal of the season on an assist from Cody Oswald. Just over three minutes later Travis Simon scored unassisted to make it 2-0.

Cody McGrath scored his first career goal on a double assist from Simon and Griffin Pedigo at the 28:16 mark.

Logan Waters pitched his second straight shutout in goal. HSU outshot the Tigers 15-10.

The Cowboys are now 3-3 on the year and 2-0 in ASC action. ETBU fell to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in league play.
