Cowboys Move To 3-0-1 in League Play

CEDAR PARK, Texas – Hardin-Simmons scored three second half goals en route to a 3-0 win over Concordia (Texas) in American Southwest Conference men’s soccer action Saturday evening at Cedar Park High School.

The game was scoreless until Cody Oswald found the back of the net off of a corner kick at the 61:13 mark.

Travis Simon added to the Cowboy lead in the 79th minute with a goal and freshman Isaiah Hicks scored his fourth goal of the season to put the game away at the 85:54 mark.

The game was a defensive affair as HSU had seven shots and the Tornados had only two. Logan Waters pitched the shutout in goal for the Cowboys.

HSU is now 4-3-1 overall and 3-0-1 in ASC action. Concordia fell to 3-6 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
