Six Honored By ASC

RICHARDSON, Texas-Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team had six players selected to the American Southwest Conference all-conference team for their outstanding play during the 2008 season.

Standout forward Isaiah Hicks, who scored five goals, was named co-offensive freshman of the year with Le Tourneau midfielder Dillon Holt.

Senior defender Chinedu Okoro and junior midfielder Estevan Arbaiza were named to the first team. Sophomore defender Chris O'Brien and Hicks were each named to the second team.

Junior forward Cody Oswald and senior midfielder Roberto Martinez were named honorable mention.

The Cowboys finished second in the ASC this season and finished with a record of 10-6-4.
