Boxscore

TYLER, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team saw its season come to an end with a 2-0 lost to UT-Dallas in the semifinals of the American Southwest Conference Championship, Saturday afternoon at Bank First Field in Tyler.

The Cowboys fell behind in the 17th minute when HSU knocked in an own goal for UT-Dallas. It remained 1-0 until the 86th minute when Kevin White iced the game with a goal for the Comets.

The game was played fairly even as UTD outshot the Cowboys only 14-11 and both teams had six corner kicks in the game.

Hardin-Simmons loses only two seniors from the team this team in Chinedu Okoro and Roberto Martinez and should be right back in the mix for the conference title next year.

HSU finishes the season with a record of 10-6-4 and UTD advances to the final looking for its second straight conference title. They will play UT Tyler, who advanced over Ozarks in penalty kicks.
