Cowboys Move Up To Eighth

SALADO, Texas -

Hardin-Simmons' men's golf team moved from 10th to eighth place at the Mary Hardin-Baylor Fall Invitational at Mill Creek Country Club in Salado.

The Cowboys knocked seven shots off their first round scored with a 308 in the second round. The Cowboys finished with a two-day total of 623. UT-Dallas won the tournament with a 593. Newman University was second and UT-Brownsville was third with a 599.

J.C. Eagle led the Cowboys with a 76 and finished fifth in the tournament with a two-round 147. Sam Antony 78-78--156, Michael Weehunt 81-77-158 and Justin Renfro 86-77-163 all equaled or improved their first round score. Adam Parker rounded out the Cowboy lineup with a 90.
