Cowboys In Ninth At UTD

RICHARDSON, Texas — Hardin-Simmons’ men’s golf
team shot rounds of 323 and 321 and is currently in ninth place at
the UT-Dallas Spring Invitational that is being played at the
7,081-yard par-72 Sherrill Park.
The Cowboys rank fifth among the 11 Division III schools in the
tournament. Texas-Tyler leads the tournament after firing a
two-round total of 594. Blaine Weiterman of Tyler Junior College
leads the medalist race with a score of 2-under 142.
Aaron Bradshaw led the Cowboy effort with a 78-76-154 total. He is
tied for 17th place overall. Kelci Gonzales shot a 79-82 and Brian
Laing shot rounds of 82 and 80 for a 162 total. Adam Parker shot a
85-83-168 and Blaine King shot an 84-89-173.
The tournament will conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday.
