Cowboys Finish Seventh

CONCAN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's golf team dropped two slots to finish seventh at the ConCan Classic that was hosted at the ConCan Golf Club and hosted by Texas Lutheran University.

Mary Hardin-Baylor won the tournament with a two-day total of 614. HSU shot 320 and 333 to finish with a 653. Texas Lutheran was second, followed by McMurry, Trinity, Southwestern and Schreiner.

Kelci Gonzales led the Cowboys in the tournament with a 76-81-157. Brian Laing led the team on Tuesday with an 80 and paired with his 82 on Monday he had a 162 total. Blaine King shot 81-85-166, Aaron Bradshaw shot 81-87-168 and Adam Parker shot 91-89-180 to round out the lineup.

The Cowboys will next be in action March 30 at UT-Dallas.
