Cowboys In Fifth At ConCan Invitational

CONCAN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's golf team is in fifth place after the first round of the ConCan Intercollegiate Classic that is being played at the 6,965, par-72 ConCan Golf Course and being hosted by Texas Lutheran University.

Kelci Gonzales led the Cowboy effort with a 76 which is good for a tie for fifth place. Aaron Bradshaw and Blaine King each shot an 81 to tie for 20th place. Brian Laing (82) and Adam Parker (91), rounded out the Cowboy lineup.

Mary Hardin-Baylor leads the tournament with a 309. Jacob Mock of Texas Lutheran leads the individual race after shooting a 71.

The tournament will conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday.
