Weather Cancels Football Recruiting Weekend; Pushes Back Basketball

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' weekend basketball games have a new schedule and the football recruiting weekend has been canceled due to icy conditions for visitors coming to campus.

Football recruits are encouraged to pick another recruiting weekend to make their campus visit. For more information, they can call the HSU Football Office at (325) 670-1471 or the coach that is recruiting them - David Rausch 670-1209, Jesse Burleson 670-1554, Jim Abbate 670-1546 or Alan Wartes 670-1547.

The Cowgirl basketball team will play Schreiner on Friday at 5 p.m and the men will follow at 7 p.m. The Saturday games with Texas Lutheran have been pushed back to 4 and 6 p.m.
