ABILENE, Texas -- Hardin-Simmons senior slotback Mychal Carrillo has been named a first-team preseason all-American by d3football.com, the leading source for Division III football.

Carrillo is coming of a season where he had 86 catches for 1,043 yards and 14 touchdowns. The senior from Sweetwater is one of 15 returning starters for the Cowboys, including one of eight on an offense that averaged 41.6 points per game last season. Hardin-Simmons went 6-4 in 2007.
