Baseball Series Moved To Saturday, Sunday

ABILENE, Texas -- Hardin-Simmons’ baseball series with Concordia slated for Friday and Saturday has been moved back to a Saturday and Sunday series, due to wet grounds in Austin.

Concordia, which is on a new campus this year, does not have its new baseball field completed. They are playing their home games at Nelson Field in Austin. That field is also shared by the high schools, which have priority in scheduling the games.

The series was set for a 1 p.m. game on Friday and a doubleheader on Saturday at noon. The teams will now play a single game on Saturday at 7 p.m. and a doubleheader at noon on Sunday.
