Forty-four Hardin-Simmons fall sport athletes have been named to the American Southwest Conference on its 2008 Fall All-Academic honor roll. The teams were announced by the ASC office late last week and include the sports of cross country, football, soccer and volleyball.
Hardin-Simmons’ men’s basketball team overcame a sluggish start and went on to win 68-50 over Louisiana College in American Southwest Conference action Monday night at the Mabee Complex.
Hardin-Simmons junior quarterback Justin Feaster has been named a finalist for the Gagliardi trophy, which is awarded each year to honor an outstanding NCAA Division III football player.
Hardin-Simmons’ women’s basketball team wore down Louisiana College and was able to take a 77-64 American Southwest Conference win on Monday night at the Mabee Complex.
